Context
The Dubious of Entanglement by Plants
Dubious, part of the Untitled series begun in 2012, was generated in 3D Max using binary code converted from a text describing an experiment in which a child and a small monkey lived together. Abandoned outside a sculpture factory for nearly a decade, the work was repeatedly displaced amid factory demolitions and relocations. Over time, it became overgrown with plants that flourished in summer and withered in winter, adding a cyclical, organic layer of life and decay to the piece.
