Artificial Moon

Presented as an atrium artist project, Artificial Moon took shape through a public installation process. Tens of thousands of energy-saving bulbs and a metal frame assemble modern manufactured objects into a moon occupying real space.

The order of lights, the shape of the moon and cold white light replace a natural phenomenon celebrated in ancient poetry with an artificial landscape in contemporary cultural space.
