A Work of the Dictionary Series: Lettering

A Work of the Dictionary Series: Lettering was the fourth online project in Folklore of the Cyber World and premiered alongside the artist’s large-scale Long Museum exhibition.

The work converts Chinese character strokes into sequences of zeroes and ones, from which software generates distinct three-dimensional models. Strokes become sculptural forms that visitors can combine into new characters and words by clicking through millions of objects.
